SERMA is accepting content proposals for SERMAnar V: The Sports & Entertainment Risk Conference. Join us in Nashville, April 6-8, 2027, and help shape the conversations driving the future of sports and entertainment risk management.

Submission Details

Deadline: Friday, September 4, 2026

Panelist Requirements:

Ensure all panelists are qualified subject matter experts

For each 60-minute session, there is a requirement of three (3) panelists

At least one panelist MUST be a risk professional (as defined below)

You MUST include each panelist's name, company and title

Session Title:

Create a compelling title that captures attention while accurately reflecting the session content
Avoid titles that are misleading or inconsistent with the session description

Session Description:

Provide a comprehensive, detailed overview of the session content
The session must be relevant to sports & entertainment
Don't submit a one-line summary
Spell out all acronyms at least once for clarity

**Risk Professional Definition: A risk professional is someone who manages risk for an organization but is not employed by brokers, underwriters, insurers or similar entities. Their role involves developing and implementing risk management practices to help organizations make risk-effective decisions that add and sustain value

Preferential treatment will not be given to any applicant based on their organization's sponsoring status. All proposals must be submitted electronically for consideration. Late, incomplete or promotional submissions will not be accepted. Only proposals that comply with the submission guidelines will be considered.
